About Whole Health Consulting
Whole Health Consulting is an integrative wellness practice that specializes in behavioral health issues. We recognize that struggling with a behavioral health issue can be a painful and discouraging experience, and the limited availability of treatment options often compounds an already difficult situation. The company was founded in order to give people options that can be utilized in place of, or in addtion to standardized means of care. Our expanded model of treatment draws from a number of methods from across the spectrum of professional health fields. To learn more about the methods we use click here.
A major strength of our approach is that it is integrative in nature, focusing on treatments that address both mind and body. It is most often a combination of both physiological and psychological factors that cause or exacerbate a behavioral health issue. Since the causes of these issues are often multi-faceted, it makes sense that any effective treatment approach would be as well. At Whole Health Consulting we use a combination of approaches, which address the biological, emotional, cognitive and behavioral aspects of a health issue. The result is that clients experience a level of healing that is both complete and long lasting.
Our integrative techniques are complemented by our functional approach to care. Functional care is a personalized model of treatment that deals with underlying causes, rather than simply treating symptoms. One of the primary principles of functional care is biochemical individuality. Every person who is experiencing a mental health issue is not experiencing it for the same reason; because of this, standardized approaches to treatment often leave patients with less than ideal outcomes. The functional approach, which we use at Whole Health Consulting, promotes an individual’s future health and happiness.
